It’s become clear that real people wanna find real people. There’s already a lot of buzz around celebrities on Twitter, and it’s not hard to find really famous movie actors & actresses, basketball players, TV showmen, Web stars, singers, and politicians. Not to mention business and bot accounts.
Typically, one would be more interested in finding his or her neighbor, classmate, colleague, close friend or cousin. These people might be on Twitter and you don’t actually know that.
Therefore, we’ve put live a new feature called ‘search filters’, which is a collapsible panel underneath the textbox where you type your Twitter username in. This panel will group all filters that are meant to make your search results even more relevant to you.
Currently, there’s only one filter in there, called ‘less celebrities’. By checking it, find2follow will do its best to filter out famous people you may not be interested in. However, if you do wanna find the stars, that’s okay. All you need to do is uncheck this filter.
